Barbora joined Bogle Architects in 2012 as an Associate and was made a Director of the Prague Company in 2016.
She studied at the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava and gained foreign academic experience at the School of Architecture in Lyon and the School of Architecture of the Royal Technical University in Stockholm. During her studies she worked in Paris on a hotel development at Les Arcs 1600, France, and after graduating with honours in 2007, she moved to London to work for the architecture practice Watkins Gray International on several residential schemes.
In 2008 Barbora joined Foster + Partners. She worked on the development of the Neptune’s Evolution scheme, a 1.9 million sq ft office building in the Kurla district of Mumbai, as well as the 700m tall hotel skyscraper India Tower, Mumbai, from concept design to detail design stage.
She moved to Prague in late 2009, where she joined Bogle Flanagan Lawrence Silver. She soon qualified both in Slovakia and in the Czech Republic. As a project architect, she worked on several commercial and residential schemes in Casablanca and Moscow. She was also instrumental in the ELI Beamlines Laser Research Facility and Vokovický Dvur residential project in Prague.
Barbora is currently leading commercial, residential, education and boutique leisure projects in Bratislava, Prague and Croatia.
