Karel studied architecture at the Czech Technical University (ČVUT) in Prague, where he graduated in 2015. He won several student competitions such as the best passive family house project and Žlutá Karta Award for a new basketball arena in Prague.
His career started at di5 architekti where he was involved in various residential and public projects such as Waltrovka III and Central European Forum in Olomouc. Following his interests in sustainable development, he joined Bahal as an architect where he worked on private modular low energy villas.
In 2015 Karel joined Bogle Architects. During this time he has been involved in various residential, educational and commercial projects in the Czech Republic such as Parková čtvrt Žižkov development in Prague, and office and factory building for Brit company in Chráštany. He was the Project Architect for Top’ Rezidence Pomezí development in Prague and Astrid Centre office and residential development in Prague 7.
In 2019 Karel qualified in the Czech Chamber of Architects.
Karel is currently responsible for the Tatra Smíchov rugby grandstand and sports complex in Prague, residential development Zahrady Hrebenka in Prague, Tip Toes primary school in Prague and multiple masterplan schemes in the Czech Republic.
Karel was made an Associate at Bogle Architects in 2021.
