Located in the heart of the Smichov residential district adjacent to Klamovka park, all buildings are designed to optimise the long distance views to the south and the adjacent park. In addition, the buildings are oriented towards the newly landscaped central parkland, their relationship also ensuring that privacy and security are enhanced in order to increase the perceived value of the development.

Each building block is arranged as ‘fingers’ aligned north/south in order to respond to the site, optimise views and preserve privacy. These ‘fingers’ also step back in height to minimise their visual impact, the staggered massing creating generous roof terraces for the added benefit of residents.

Layouts of the 112 apartments are flexible, accommodating a range of client requirements. Solid flank walls spaced 6m apart provide the main structural grid, featuring glazed walls to the south and north. Balconies are arranged at the corners facing south, west and east to provide clear connections with the landscape beyond. The concept driving the landscape is to retain, reinforce and complement the woodland setting that will envelop the architecture and create a distinctive green living environment.
