Luigi Studied at the Architectural Faculty of the University Federico II in Naples graduating in 2006. He qualified as an architect in the UK in 2009. He moved to London in 2006 to work with a small practice specialising in sustainable residential development pioneering the use of timber frame systems.
Luigi joined BFLS London in 2008 where he worked on a wide range of projects including the Leigh Road and Central Core Masterplan in Slough, the new Reading Station Southern Concourse and strategic masterplan and BCO Award winner 2 Hammersmith Grove. In addition, he has been extensively involved in successful submissions for international design competitions, including the winning proposal for the ELI Laser facility in Prague as well as the finalist scheme for the Max Plank Institute Laboratory in Munich.
Luigi joined Bogle Architects in 2012 and has worked on several international projects including the design of a 40-story commercial tower in Guangzhou and the delivery of the international school of Ho Chi Minh City. He was also responsible for the design and delivery of the Bellhouse Building in Oxford creating an incubator/innovation centre for The Oxford Science Park with a focus on life sciences and biomedical research.
Luigi was made Design Director in 2022 and he is currently working on both international and UK projects specialising in education and research projects with a focus on wellbeing and sustainability. He is also leading the design and delivery of a multifunctional masterplan in Porto, occupying the site of a dismissed Tannery. The scheme provides residential, commercial and student accommodation and includes the conversion of a historical factory building into a Mercado.
