Marek studied at the Brno University of Technology. During his studies, he worked for Hrusa Architekti Atelier in Brno and afterwards gained both academic and technical experience internationally studying at the Royal Technical University in Stockholm and working with Paul de Ruiter Architectenbureau in Amsterdam.

He was part of the team working on the Erasmus Student Pavilion - a campus building for Erasmus University in Rotterdam.

During his Master’s studies, he won an international competition Vranov, near Brno, aimed at rural area settlements with the University of Liechtenstein.

After graduation in 2012, he moved to Prague and joined Bogle Architects. Since then he has been involved in multiple projects and competitions. He has been responsible for a number of projects in Bratislava including the Staromestska Office complex, Majakovskeho Residencies and a Private Villa.

Marek has also been instrumental in the design and delivery of the LEAF Academy boarding school on the outskirts of Bratislava.

Marek was made a Design Director in 2022.
