Bogle Architects has been appointed by Real Estate Developer KKCG to design the Pomezi residential masterplan in Prague 5. The shortlist of practices participating in the design workshop included Schmidt Hammer Lassen and MVRDV.
This 16,500 sqm mixed tenure development will offer apartments, town houses and individual villas. The landscape strategy includes new green spaces, public footpaths, nature trails and an urban gym.
The natural beauty of the surrounding landscape inspired the proposed design concept of 'pavilions in the park'. The design exploits the challenging, undulating topography of the site, creating a scenic green setting. The scheme is carefully orientated to ensure all homes benefit from maximum daylight. The environmentally efficient structures will feature green roofs and energy saving systems.
Petr Pujman from KKCG says:
"KKCG recently organised a series of workshops with a group of distinguished architectural practices in order to identify a winning design for the Pomezi project. We are delighted to announce that Bogle Architects has been selected to deliver the scheme and we are very excited to be collaborating with such an innovative and creative team."
Viktorie Souckova, Managing Director, (Prague), Bogle Architects stated:
‘’The residential accomodation at Pomezi will be a fantastic addition to this unique part of Prague. We look forward to continuing our relationship with KKCG and developing our increasing portfolio within the Czech Republic and beyond ‘’
