The proposal maintains the existing clubhouse with its terrace and connects it to a new stand. Alongside the stand and facilities, a new training pitch and a multi-purpose pitch with an outdoor gym are proposed. Specific training elements will be integrated throughout the complex. The main rugby pitch will be adapted to meet World Rugby Organisation and Czech Rugby Union regulations. The design for the new grandstand, positioned on the site of the original structure, will increase seating capacity to 556. Inside, the grandstand will feature enhanced team facilities, an indoor gym, a sports hall, VIP amenities, and a commentator booth.
The grandstand's massing is defined by the intersection of basic geometric shapes—a pyramid and a cube. This modern interpretation of historical auditorium forms results in a design that is both simple and sophisticated. The structure is divided into two contrasting elements: the grandstand itself and its background, consisting of an elongated concrete base integrated into the sloping terrain. Above this base sits a roof structure made of steel trusses with timber cladding and sharp, pronounced angles.
At both ends of the grandstand, two platforms serve as terraces for spectators and social events. Despite the increased capacity, the new grandstand retains the horizontality and scale of the original structure, ensuring it fits cohesively within the landscape.
